The UMW raises money through cooking meals for the Lions Club the second and fourth Tuesday of every month (Sept. through May). The money goes to: Pledge to Missions, Albion District; Local Missions (Christmas Baskets), mission trips, ASP, funeral dinners, youth group concerts, postage for Valentine's boxes to college students and Military personnel, senior potlucks and the Aware Shelter.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
We are currently looking for individuals interested in making prayer shawls for those facing a crisis, in need of surgery, lost a loved one, dealing with an illness, etc. We have several donations of yarn, and there is no certain pattern to follow. You can make them any size, any color. Please contact coordinator, Joyce Hubbard 524-8341 if you're interested in making a gift that will touch the lives of many. If you know of someone in need of being covered in prayer, simply see Pastor Melany, fill out the registration book, and take a prayed-over shawl to your loved one in need.
