Winter weather notice

Concord United Methodist Church makes every effort to not cancel Sunday Worship due to weather, though the office may occasionally be closed when Concord Community Schools are closed.  We encourage each person to use their best judgement on whether it is safe for them to attend Worship in the extreme winter weather we sometimes experience in South Central Michigan.  In the event that weather does force us to close, closure will be announced on the Church's Facebook page which can be found by clicking here.

red cross disaster shelter

Concord United Methodist Church is a Red Cross Disaster Area Shelter and Cooling Center for those who may experience power outages, and in need of a warm place to stay and shower. You can call the church office, 524-6156 or Robyn 524-8432 to gain access to the church when your power is out.

Community Blessing Box
The Blessing Box at Concord UMC is a "roadside pantry" filled with shelf-stable food items. All are invited to "Take what you need, Leave what you can." You can also drop off donations (food items or financial donations) in our office, 119 S. Main St., Concord to ensure the box stays well-stocked! Food scarcity is a real concern for many, especially with prices on the rise. CUMC hopes to help our friends, neighbors and community members by keeping the Blessing Box stocked and available to anyone, and would appreciate your donations as well.
We LOVE our community! Help the Blessing Box program be successful here in Concord!
